At BC High, we aim to nurture each young man as a whole person— head, heart, and hands.
At BC High, the student experience begins and ends with the heart. Every day, our boys are expected to have their hearts moved by their educational journey—whether in the classroom, on the field, or in any other setting. Our Jesuit spirituality is deeply accessible, rooted in relationships, context, and the stories that shape each individual. This commitment to drawing others into the sacred space between people allows us to educate for character and formation, helping students become individuals who strive to make the world a better place.
Being a Jesuit school means we value and celebrate each student’s unique story, using it as a vehicle for education. Our teachers, through their very presence and the passion they bring daily, model the importance of relationship and depth. At BC High, joining us means entering a community, a brotherhood where connections are fostered and nurtured. Our faculty go above and beyond, spending time with students before and after school to understand and support them fully. If, years after leaving BC High, our graduates are described as loving individuals with an enormous capacity to care and live their lives based on love, we know we have succeeded in our mission.
The house system at BC High further enhances this sense of community, providing smaller, supportive groups that ensure every student is known and cared for. Academic rigor and depth of learning are central to our program, preparing students not only for superior college outcomes but for lifelong intellectual engagement. Our Academic Resource Center, school and college counselors, heads of house, and advisors work together to provide comprehensive support, guiding each student through their academic and personal growth. This holistic approach ensures that every boy at BC High has the resources and mentorship needed to thrive both during their time here and beyond.
