More than just an academic requirement, the fine arts curriculum is rooted in an old tradition of The Jesuit Ratio Studiorum (the formational guide to Ignatian educational practice) written in 1599. The Studiorum emphasizes Experience, Reflection, and Action as crucial steps towards deeper learning and understanding. The faculty uses this as a guideline to help students explore how art intersects with their lives. We hope you can join us for the reception that opens on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, in Cadigan Hall.
