Football Team Travels to New Jersey

Coming off a strong win last week in the pouring rain the Varsity Football team will travel to New Jersey instead of taking the bye week off. The BC High Football Team travels to Hudson Catholic (NJ) on Saturday, September 23, at 12 noon. This is the first trip back to New Jersey for the team since the 2012 season. “We could not find an in-state opponent for Week #3, so rather than have a Bye Week, we decided to look out of state,” said Coach Jon Bartlett ’87. “In the past, when we played schools from New Jersey it really seemed to help us later in the season. The level of play in New Jersey seems a bit faster and stronger. We are looking at this trip as a chance to promote team building, and more importantly, as an opportunity to play a high level of football.”

If you are in the area, bring your maroon and gold and join the Eagles this Saturday in New Jersey as they face the Hudson Catholic Hawks for an exciting match-up between two undefeated teams.
