Commuting to BC High

Transportation is an important factor when selecting a school for your son. With easy connections to the MBTA and highway, there are multiple options for commuting. Our students travel from 120 communities in Massachusetts and New Hampshire every day and our doors open at 6:00 a.m. which allows for flexible arrival times.

Here are the two most-popular commutes:

  • Public Transportation
Nearly 1,100 students commute by public transportation. We are located on the MBTA Red Line, and the JFK/UMass stop is a five-minute walk from our campus. A pedestrian bridge crosses Morrissey Boulevard and ensures students safe access to the school.

Discounted MBTA passes may be purchased through the school each year.
  • Driving
BC High’s campus is easily accessed from the I-93 expressway so driving to and from the school is an option for many students. Our online portal helps enrolled families find other families by town so they can arrange carpools. Ample visitor parking is located across from the main entrance to the school.

Many upperclassmen drive to and from school and we offer free parking in designated student lots. Each year students are required to register their vehicles with the school and are issued a student parking permit.

Please visit Getting to BC High for public transportation options.
