The Council will represent the leadership of the national and global BC High Alumni Network, promoting a positive image of BC High and establishing programs that enhance a close and continuing relationship between the School and its alumni. The goal of the Alumni Council is to ensure that BC High alumni can come together to foster a vibrant, dynamic community that offers broad opportunities for lifelong engagement for the purposes of social, intellectual and spiritual well-being.
The mission of the Sankofa Mentoring Program is to assist current black and latino students with their academic, social, and spiritual formation during their time at BC High. Through the program, students will be given the opportunity to connect and build relationships with black and latino alumni.
This program nourishes student needs beyond the classroom and provides the support, the resources, and the voices necessary to ensure black and latino students are successful during their time at BC High and beyond. During the academic year, mentors and mentees will work to cultivate leadership skills, build community, and have fun through social and academic programs put on by the Sankofa Mentorship staff.
At its core, this program is rooted in the Catholic tradition of our school, specifically in its Jesuit values, which calls for a faith that is committed to the promotion of justice. This program reflects our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and ensuring every student and alumnus feels known, cared for, and seen. If you are an alumnus, current student, or parent that identifies as black and/or latino and would like to learn more about the Sankofa Program, please contact Assistant Director of Alumni Programs, Kenny Delino ’16, [email protected]
The Class Agent Program builds excitement around supporting the Fund for BC High. Each Class Agent will increase the giving percentage of their respective class through outreach and engagement. The end goal remains to grow the dollar amount of gifts to The Fund for BC High to help advance the mission of School.

Reunion Committees are designed to help drive attendance for the event and increase the giving percentage of your respective class.
Reunions are held for the 5th year classes and then every five years following. Once graduates have reached their 50th-year reunion they are encouraged to work with the Advancement office to hold annual or bi-annual luncheons to keep classmates connected.

BC Hire offers career programs throughout the academic calendar for our current students and young alumni. These programs include resume building, interviewing skills and learning to work in a professional setting. BC High continues to invite successful alumni back to campus twice a month to speak to student groups regarding their career path. It’s an excellent opportunity for students to utilize the BC High network.
If you are ready to explore the BC Hire Internship Program either as a candidate or potential employer, contact Kenny Delino ’18, Asst. Director for Alumni Programs, [email protected].
