Our Team

Leadership Team

The leadership team has an unwavering commitment to the overall, big-picture vision of BC High. They lead the daily functions of the school, which includes strategic planning, finances and operations, and maintaining the standards that advance the school’s character-driven mission.

Board of Trustees

The BC High governance structure is led by a mission-driven Board of Trustees with diverse and expert backgrounds.

The Board is responsible for setting and reviewing the strategic direction of the School, and overseeing the fiduciary management of the School and its assets. The Board of Trustees includes the President, who is appointed by the Trustees and remains a member while serving as school leader.

Our Trustees share a deep and abiding commitment to the School’ s mission and the Ignatian values that honor BC High’s traditions and inspire leaders of tomorrow.

Under their direction, they have embarked on a process to develop the next strategic plan.

Jesuit Sponsorship

Last year, BC High went through a process known as “Sponsorship Review”. Every five years the Society of Jesus asks us to conduct a Mission Examen entailing a year of self-study and reflection. Through this review, the Jesuits asked us to articulate the fidelity of our promise to our families and students. We were asked to state the case for our mission and Ignatian identity. It is a powerful opportunity for collaboration and interaction between our departments, our students and their parents, and our alumni.

It has been a time to focus particularly on the Ignatian concept, of being “contemplatives in action”. Sponsorship Review will require a great deal of reflection that we will use to improve and strengthen our community, moving us closer together and closer to God. It is an incredible time of hope and promise for our community.
