Two BC High alumni rowers have been recognized at the national level:
Conor Harrity ‘13 was selected as a member of the United States Rowing Men’s 8+ that will compete in the Tokyo Olympics, July 23 – August 8. He is a former Harvard University and BC High Captain. Conor began rowing at BC High, set the teams 2k and 6k records and led the team to its firsts New England Points Trophy.
Owen Keating ’21 was invited to the US Junior National Team Camp this summer in Chula Vista, California. The goal of the camp is to select athletes to represent the United Stated in the World Rowing Junior Championship in Plodiv, Bulgaria August 11-15. Owen began rowing his freshmen year at BC High and was one of this year’s team Captain. He is in the BC High top ten, all time, for his 2k and 6k and will be rowing at Cal Berkley next fall.
