Live compassionately.
Community service isn’t an add-on at BC High. It’s an integral part of your academic and social life, seamlessly woven into your day-to-day.
At BC High, we follow the Jesuit ideal of living compassionately in service of others. Here, you’ll ask tough questions in class, engage in meaningful service projects within the local community and in the distant corners of the world, and begin to integrate the quest for justice into all you do.
Service opportunities give you the opportunity to grow as you step beyond your comfort zones for the benefit of others. Whether you’re reaching out to unhoused men and women in downtown Boston or serving as a pallbearer at funerals at St. Anthony Shrine, helping teach citizenship and ESL classes through the Cardenal Project or leading an afterschool program with differently-abled peers, there are opportunities to give back all around you.
